Effective July 20, 2026
Zero Considerations ("the app", "we") is an offline firearm zeroing and ballistics tool. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your information. The short version: the app keeps your data on your device and does not collect, sell, or share your personal information.
Everything you create in the app — your firearms, optics, mounts, loads, zeroing sessions, photos of your targets, and results — is stored only on your device. We do not upload it or have any access to it. Photos you take for shot-group measurement are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.
The app has an optional feature that fills in environmental conditions (temperature, pressure, humidity, wind) for your shooting location. If — and only if — you use it, the app sends your device's approximate location (latitude and longitude) to Open-Meteo, a third-party weather service, to retrieve current conditions. We do not store this location, and it is used only to fill those fields. Open-Meteo's handling of the request is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. If you don't use weather auto-fill, no location data ever leaves your device.
If you choose to submit a review, a feature idea, or a bug report / complaint, we receive what you send us (and any contact information you choose to include). We use it solely to respond to you and to improve the app. We do not use it for advertising and do not share it. Sending feedback is always your choice.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Because your data lives on your device, uninstalling the app removes it. If you sent us feedback and would like it deleted, email us at the address below and we will remove it.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
