Effective August 10, 2026 (supersedes July 20, 2026)
Zero Considerations ("the app", "we") is a firearm zeroing and ballistics tool that runs on your device. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your information. The short version: every measurement and every ballistic calculation happens on your phone, we do not collect, sell, or share your personal information, and the app makes exactly one outbound request — the optional weather auto-fill you tap.
Everything you create in the app — your firearms, optics, mounts, loads, zeroing sessions, photos of your targets, and results — is stored only on your device. We do not upload it or have any access to it. Photos you take for shot-group measurement are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.
The app has an optional feature that fills in environmental conditions (temperature, pressure, humidity) for your shooting location. If — and only if — you tap it, the app sends your device's approximate location (latitude and longitude, rounded to four decimal places, with no name, account, or device identifier attached) to a third-party weather service to retrieve current conditions. We do not receive or store that location — the request goes from your phone to the weather service directly, and the answer is used only to fill those fields.
The weather service is MET Norway (the Norwegian Meteorological Institute) in current versions of the app; earlier versions used Open-Meteo. Each service's handling of the request is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. If you don't use weather auto-fill, the app makes no network request at all — every measurement, photo analysis, and ballistic solution works with the phone in airplane mode.
If you email us a feature idea, a bug report, or a complaint, we receive what you send us (and any contact information you choose to include). We use it solely to respond to you and to improve the app. We do not use it for advertising and do not share it. Sending feedback is always your choice; the app does not send anything on your behalf.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Because your data lives on your device, uninstalling the app removes it. If you sent us feedback and would like it deleted, email us at the address below and we will remove it.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
